IRVINGTON MODEL UNITED NATIONS · MIDDLE SCHOOL MUN
Middle School MUN
An introduction to Model United Nations, open to middle school students with every level of experience.
THE PROGRAM
Start Early.
Model United Nations puts you in the seat of a country’s diplomat. You are assigned a nation, and you argue its real positions in committee: researching what that government actually says, speaking in formal debate, building alliances with others that share your goals, and writing resolutions.
Middle School MUN is where that begins. Irvington’s own delegates and officers run meetings every Wednesday, and they build your skillset from the ground up. You will learn how a committee runs, how to speak without notes in front of a room, and how to hold an argument together.
There is no tryout and no experience requirement. Come to a meeting, sit down, and learn something new.
